Bataclown is a clown-theater structure created in 1980 in the Toulouse region. Since its creation, it has developed in the following ways:

• as a clown-theater company: creating and producing shows and interventions at professional meetings, congresses, symposiums, seminars… using the name “Les clownanalystes du Bataclown”.
• as a training complex: it has a short training program in clown-theater and company training.
• as a research complex: creating the Centre de Recherche sur le Clown Contemporain (CRCC).

The company “Les clownanalystes du Bataclown” brings together 10 hired clown-actors and a production manager. The training arm of Bataclown employs 14 clown theater trainers plus 9 partners from other artistic disciplines and an Executive Secretary. Its training center in La Robin created in 1982 has training rooms for its short courses and rehearsal rooms for the company. It is also its head office. The office of Clownanalystes du Bataclown in Balma has direct access to to a physical and artistic activity room to be used for TransMigrArts workshops.
